Each month the participants get the chance to work on a marketing campaign for the release of a new album by an up and coming artist signed to Universal Records.

 

Participants gain job-ready skills such as CV building, interview techniques and job searching tools as well as advice and guidance on application forms and writing cover letters .Individual skills are assessed and help with Literacy and Numeracy is given to those who need it. Participants complete the course with the confidence and motivation to prepare them for work or further training. The valuable life skills gained give them the ability to attend an interview and confidently speak about the marketing campaign they developed, worked on and then presented and all with a real world recording artist who they can name. â€‹



This is an exciting opportunity for those young people without direction or in need of that little lift that only music can and great mentoring can deliver.

what can be gained?

Participants can gain a Rockschool accredited level 1 unit in 'Careers in Music'

 

Participants will also gain knowledge in MARKETING and PR as well as building both CONFIDENCE and MOTIVATION
what is Included?

​

LUNCH is included every day for free

TRAVEL to and from the course is claimed back at the end of each week

PARTY for the Big Reveal on the last day and bring a friend along
Am I eligible?​

If you are aged between 16 and 24 and you are not currently employed or undertaking any training or education then you can apply.

You must be living in Northern Ireland and able to attend on the dates specified.
